Websphere Admin Consultant

Summary:
The Integration Architecture group at client manages global platform-level activities for two key integration technologies: ETL and EAI. For ETL, the standard tools used are IBM DataStage, QualityStage and Information Analyzer. For EAI, standard tools are in the IBM WebSphere EAI suite, i.e.: Enterprise Service Bus (WESB), Transformation Extender (WTX), Partner Gateway (WPG), Business Monitor (WBM) and Service Registry & Repository (WSRR).

In addition to standard software tools, common infrastructure and services are all combined into two key *platforms* for ETL & EAI development and operations. The *Global Information Platform (GIP)* was established for BI Systems and is used for ETL; while the *Application Integration Platform (AIP)* was established for A2A & B2B Integrations and is used for EAI. Both platforms are distributed across Client*s major data centers: US/Boulder, EMEA/Nossegem and AsiaPac/Singapore. The GIP was established Q4*07 and already has 100+ different BI Systems running on it. The AIP was just established Q4*09, but is actively being leveraged to redeploy over half of all existing company integrations, as part of the Client *ERP Consolidation* project currently underway.
ETL & EAI developers are widely distributed geographically and represent all Client businesses, regions, and functions. Some major projects (e.g. ERP Consolidation) also utilize off-shore, out-sourced development resources from Wipro.

This position will be primarily focused on supporting the EAI function (AIP Platform), with specific responsibilities described below. However, the ideal candidate will be able to provide administrative support as needed for the ETL function (GIP Platform) as well.
